August of 2001, Diabetes Youth Services became an independent benefit
corporation that no longer receives support from St. Vincent Mercy
Medical Center. We now rely solely on grants, corporate and community
and individual gifts to sustain the invaluable programs we provide.
The price of independence is great, and our operating expenses have
doubled since 1991. We need your help to sustain the most comprehensive
programming for children and families challenged by diabetes in your
area. |
